Sunday Snapshot {Non-agenda Saturday}

The weather today was glorious.  One of those days that makes a North Carolinian glad to call this place home.  And with the exception of watching the VT/Miami game, we had nothing on schedule.

So to 'our park' we went.

**Oh.  Yeah.  If you know our family, you'll notice there are a few extras.  Abbey and Elijah spent the day with us as their parents went to a football game and 'cousin Jor-deen' is back for a second round of talks with our church's youth pastor about a potential internship as a graduation requirement.  It was fun pretending to be a family of eight today.  Well, except that the dishwasher ran THREE times. But other than that it was great!**

The playground provided nearly two hours of entertainment.  We reached for the sky on the swings.

We scaled mighty walls to get into the castle.

We did some practice on the high bar for our future gymnastics career.

We gathered our thoughts in not so comfortable resting spots.

We had so much fun we were walking on air.

And then we teamed up to form a train of sorts.  Which of course elicited many smiles and giggles.

It was a day with no agenda.  And it was WONDERFUL!  We all need a few more of these kind of days in our busy schedules!

I love the picture with all their hands up. It was a lot of fun and despite their smallness in size, when you are holding 5 of them up while the photographer takes her place, it can get quite heavy! :) Glad to be back.

I see that Kylie was also dressed like it was summer yesterday. Maggie wore a tank top and a skirt with popsicles on it for most of the day yesterday. Hot blooded girls!

I waaaaaaaant one of those days...and, yes, I'm whining.

But I, too, love the photo of them all on the slide! Hey, that's your family, minus one (at least for the time being), in the near future! :) I can HARDLY WAIT for our next visit!

Miss you much!

Love ya lots!
