...we'll have been in the air on the way to Shanghai for 10 hours, with 4 hours, 49 minutes to go. Uh yeah. There is one part of this trip I'm not looking forward to so much. 14 hours, 49 minutes? Sigh.
Much to say on Kylie's forever family day celebration, preparations for our adventure, the trip itself, and our anticipation, but tonight I'm too tired. I just thought I'd check in for a minute to let folks know that we're alive and kicking. And walking around in a sleep deprived stupor.
So before anything else like tonight's dinner injury (one curse of skillets that can go directly into the oven is that the handles get really hot and then when they are on the stovetop a tired person can forget that it just came out of the oven ~ I'm glad I have a week before we leave for my hand to hopefully heal) occurs, we're calling it an early night (besides, one handed typing is REALLY slowing me down) and will return to fervor pitch packing tomorrow!
But I do have to leave you with this random photo sequence...
"No worries anyone. I got it!"

WOW!! One week and counting. I so hope to be right behind you.
Good luck with all the last little things that need to get done.
I'm so sorry to hear about your hand! I did the same thing when we 1st got our flat top stove...it's hard to remember that you can lay your hand there! I pray that the next week goes smooth & that the 15'ish hour flight is even smoother! Watching w/ anticipation!
Only one more week! Woo Hoo! So excited for your family! Especially Darcy!
Yeah - less than a week! So sorry about your hand. I hope it gets better really quickly. Let us know if you have any time in Shanghai that overlaps with us being there. Did you get all signed up with torproject so that you can use blogger in China? wishing you well and thank you again for your comments on our blog which are encouraging and very sweet and make me feel good especially since our situations from one girl to one girl and one boy are so similar. Get some sleep and heal that hand. The photos of Caleb with the lobster are so cute. He is very adorable.
