So much for shrimp on the menu...

Yesterday at the Jessco store, Kylie saw the starting product that ended as shrimp on her plate.

And last night at dinner she refused to eat her former favorite protein source.  What's gonna happen when she makes the connection with chickens, cows, and pigs?

**More posts coming soon ~ I've emailed this one and my sweet pal Glenda will have a few more that I've sent her (with lots more pictures) up shortly!**

Oh, and about Skype.  My computer seems to be dying a slow death.  Right now I can't view my pictures any larger than thumbnail size (this was the last of the ones I saw before the major issue started) AND my web cam simply stopped working.  My resident computer guru (I try not to travel without him) is working on a solution, but he's hitting a lot of brick walls.  We're going in search of a thumbdrive to back up all our trip pictures tomorrow...

Poor Kylie...we took a very interesting walk behind our hotel one day and found "Old China"...where the Chinese were just living their lives apart from tourists. After our kids watch a man pick out a live chicken, watched the lady break its neck in her hands, cut its head off and throw in on the ground to a waiting cat, throw the headless chicken in a bloody barrel where Lord only knows what happened in there with lots of flapping of wings and banging around, come out with no feathers and handed back to the man KFC just didn't have the same appeal....

Can't wait for more pictures!!!

Poor Kylie. That is sort of traumatic. Of course, it didn't bother my kids. AT ALL. I think maybe I should have been bothered by that. I think I read on CNN this week that someone found a deep fried chicken head in their nuggets at McDonalds. Talk about traumatic!! Sorry about the computer. Hope it hangs in there for a few more days.

Poor Kylie. It's rough to make those aweful discoveries! Our place in south Tx. was fourty acres of prime dear hunting...don't judge me because I love venision :0) Visions of Emily and Bambi are going through my head.

I'll be praying for your hunt for backup on your computer. Not such a great time for tech issues. It's a good thing you have such great tech support!

I could very easily become a vegetarian if I think about stuff too much! Hope you don't lose any pix :(

Oh, that look on her face says it all... it is if she is thinking, "hmmm those things are alive and swim around with little legs and have eyes... and I eat these little animals... those poor things" She has such a sympathetic little heart.
