The promise of a new day

It says in Psalms that His joys come in the morning...

Thanks for praying! Ky slept soundly for 11 hours, woke up and requested a glass of plain milk. She said nothing felt badly, and when I took her temp, it was 98.8. We're so thankful! We do ask though for continued prayers that nothing returns and the virus doesn't hit any of the rest of us.

So with restored health for my sweet girl, we did what any other southern, snow loving family does. May I introduce you to Kylie and Caleb's new friend Eric and his dog Snowflake?
In honor of our first "packing snow" in several years in NC, I "re-"wrote a little ditty...

Eric our snowman, wa-as such a sight to see, with his scallion mouth and a carrot nose, and two eyes made of bro-oc-li."

What, never heard of broccoli eyes? We are trying to clean out the produce drawer of the fridge after all...

God is good! I've followed your blog for several years now and enjoy your posts so much....we used the same adoption agency for our first adoptions. Thought it was about high time I became an official follower! I even borrowed your "Weigh In Wednesday" idea for myself (although it hasn't been working too well for me so far). Prayers for your family for safe (and healthy) travels!

I just read this on Sunday, I'm so glad she is better. I feel your panic. I don't know if you remember, but Abbey had a very high fever 3 days before we were supposed to leave. So, God has heard those prayers from me. He was faithful for us, and I'm sure he will be for you also. Even before I read your post, this morning, God had brought you all to my mind and prayers. Be assured the Doziers are covering you in prayer!

So glad to hear that Kylie is feeling well...especially since I didn't know she had been ill. I'll be praying that no one else comes down with anything.

Super cute snowman...you should go into the jingle business :0)
