Headed out

We're up (as if we really needed the alarm this morning), have had breakfast, and are checking to make sure all the electronics are fully charged.  In 15 minutes we'll head down to the lobby to meet our guide.  And then we'll go to meet and adopt our third child.  WOW!!!  There have been fireworks shooting off across the city ~ yes, in the daylight! ~ (our hotel is about three blocks from the beautiful West Lake and from the hotel restaurant we have a great view) for about thirty minutes THIS MORNING!  Kylie stated, "Mommy, they must know that today we are meeting Darcy!"

As I lay awake around three this morning (thankfully only for a potty break for Kyle ~ no hungry bellies through the night) I thought of so many things I wanted to add to my thoughts I posted before I went to bed.  Like that God really digs adoption because He was the one that created it.  Like that I KNOW that He will give us the strength to make it through the tough times.  Like that He will be glorified because we were obedient to His call to bring our little one home.

Those are just a few things, there's more.  One day I hope to really sit down and fully compose how God changed my life forever through this miracle.

But for now I'm out the door...

FYI ~ We will meet Darcy, complete the adoption paperwork today instead of going back tomorrow, and then our guide is taking us to the market to buy water, snacks, and any clothing if what we brought Darcy doesn't fit.  Good thing since I overlooked a coat for her...  I say that to say I don't know how many hours I'll be gone, but I promise that I'll at least get a picture up ASAP!

I know you have Darcy now (for about 3 hours) and just wanted you to know I have been praying ..for her to feel safe, loved and already trust you. For you and Ian, that you would be able to communicate and understand her and for Kylie and Caleb...that they would feel more love than they have already known....
can't wait to see pictures!!!!
