"I miss her Momma"

Some of the sweetest time of day is the bedtime ritual with my sweet kiddos. I love holding my children while reading them stories, inhaling their sweet, post-bath, baby smell. The hugs and kisses that come next as they prepare to crawl into their beds are equally enjoyed. But perhaps my favorite part of all are the precious conversations that come in those few minutes before and after their evening prayers.

Last night Kylie interrupted herself as we discussed the things she was thankful for. She had just listed Mommy, Daddy, Caleb, Darcy, and Maya when she stopped mid-thought, got a very serious look on her face, and said, "I miss her Momma. I really miss Darcy. When will she finally be here with us?"

Amazing how even a three year old child can begin to love a family member from thousands of miles away...

One of the TWENTY pictures we received of Darcy that were taken at the end of October by the medical mission team that visited her CWI and saw our baby. What a blessing!

The night time routine is one of my favorite parts of the day too for the same reasons! Darcy is beautiful and I can't wait until I see photos of all three of your children together. Kylie has the sweetest spirit.

My Tongginator says this same thing about her future sister whom we don't even know will one day become a reality. I remind her that she's really *longing* for a sister. But we don't have a picture (much less a person attached to that picture). Kylie is one sweet little gal.

Sweet! Save that thought for when they are teenagers or pre-teens. :) Cute picture. Could she and Caleb be twins??? She too is gonna have one of those smiles that melt your heart!! You will soon be one blessed and busy momma!!

Aww, how sweet! Didn't you just get a big lump in your throat and tears in your eyes. Such sweetness. "To such as these belongs the kingdom of heaven."

You can remind her of those words when little sister is taking her things and getting on her nerves!

She's got such a kind heart, I know you're a proud Momma!

Watch out momma! Next time she will take matters into her own hands and try to "fly" to China to get her sister.

Around our house, we keep saying to her that her brother is not ready yet and she answered me, "can Nathan hurry up and get ready, faster?" I guess China will better hurry up for all of us in waiting!
