Weigh In Wednesday

Yes! On the road to progress again...I had to go back and look from the start. It's slow, but slow and steady (as long as I can keep it going the right direction) wins the race. Right?

So far the scale has read: 170.4, 168.4, 169.4, and now 167.6

I just started exercising again on T/Th when the kids are in preschool and have added a long walk (at least 45 minutes) to our afternoon routine. Hopefully that will speed things up a little.

My goal is 150 before we travel to meet Darcy. (There, I've said it "out loud." Now I'm gonna have to do it...)

And if scales don't excite you, do go back and check out my kids lovin' each other yesterday! It's some serious Elmo cuteness!

Yay for you! I made a decision yesterday to stop the numbers on my scale from climbing. It's so frustrating to be concerned with what to eat or drink. I love Coke, and I think the free Coke at work was killing me. I figured I was drinking on average 6 12oz Cokes a day. That's 840 calories (I think). Yikes! Yesterday I consumed a total of 960 calories--ALL DAY and only one of those Cokes. :( The kids even ate ice cream after dinner and I refrained. double :(

I'm proud of you!

Good for you! I started a weight loss program last year and lost 20lbs. I've gained a few back and am now working to get those off. I'm so glad The Biggest Loser is back on because it is SO motivating for me and my husband. He lost over 30lbs. last year.
Keep up the good work!

Go Kristi!!!! It's good to see those cute pink tonails again and see the lower number. Slow and steady wins the race. Did Laurie begin the weight loss with these bloggers? I lost 3lbs at her house when I was there 2 weeks ago, so that was a good start for me. I agree with your friend, Lynn....so glad Biggest Loser is back on...I love that show. I'm rooting for the 474lb. gal...can't think of her name right now, but she lost 23lbs last week. WOW!

OK, Kristi! I seriously need to think about doing this along side you. I am in desperate need of losing weight - our computers crashed, and we are waiting for repair, so the only place I can catch up right now is at work. But, congratulations on your good job this week!!!! You will meet your goal, I know it! Love, Melissa

Progress!!!! We went for a long walk today and even though it felt like fall when I left the house, I was totally sweaty when I got home... that better get rid of some poundage!!!!

Good Job! I am doing the same thing... I am at 171 right now. My goal is to leave for Taiwan at... much lower?
I am kind of fasting. only going to eat 22pts a day until we raise all of our money for the kids. 20,000 to go! When I want to cheat I remember my promise to God. It helps more than anything. I bought a wok at Ikea the other night. I made some good stir fry last night. Yum! And it was only 4pts for the whole meal. Yippie!
