Not in the mood...

There's still so much to document (for myself mostly ~ this is the closest I manage to get to a scrapbook these days) about Yellowstone, but I'm simply not in the mood tonight.

Home study issues. AGAIN! Three weeks and two days after the report was finished we finally got our copy. I was so excited (even though frustrated from the delay due to someone at our home study agency not sending the supporting documentation to our adoption agency for the review for over two weeks) that we'd finally be sending our I-800A application off today. Even via regular mail it would be in the Chicago lock box by Monday.

Then I read it and realized that there were a few mistakes in the summary page ~ the one that wasn't sent to our adoption agency for review. Glaring ones that could spell big trouble later getting Darcy's Visa to come home. So we have to get the correction made before we send immigration application.

And with the current track record we've had with our home study agency, I'm not hopeful that this will happen quickly.

I tell myself over and over again that God's timing is far supreme to mine, that He knows the reason that we keep hitting delays. But that doesn't mean that I like it...

I am praying! But also agreeing that it is all in God's timing! Frustrating... but reasuring!

Kristi, I am so very sorry for your frustration. Once your girl is in your arms, these bumps in the road will be forgotten. But for now, I know it's so very hard.

Kristi,
Oh, no, I can't believe that. I'm praying for you, I know how you are feeling. It's so hard. I pray for the Lord to give you peace and the perserverance to keep on plowing through this process. It can be sooo frustrating. Keep your eyes on the prize. When we tell these kids how hard we had to work to bring them home, they'll have no doubt how much we love them!
Hang in there!

I too am praying for you. It's so hard to understand why God's timing is not the same as our own.

Love ya!

Hang in there. Paperwork can be so daunting and soooo discouraging. Take heart - he's in control - and don't forget to remind of that when we begin to hit snags too. Our HS should be ready by the end of this week. Maybe we'll be traveling together.
