So much for the big sister/little brother photo shoot I had envisioned...

I should have known how hard it would be, but still I had this adorable brother/sister shot in my mind. The children would show their amazing affection to one another and sit serenely as I snapped photo after photo of my beautiful children in their adorable shirts...

Yeah right! Without further ado, I give you our photo shoot in the lobby of the Asia International Hotel Sunday morning on our way out:

"Hey what's going on over there?"

Catching her brother's attention ~ literally

"Hey Ta-eb, look at Mommy!"

Maybe if I corral them in and hold them still?

Am I the only one who knows how to look at the camera AND give a NATURAL smile?
Losing control here...

Three out of four family members looking at the camera and two of them smiling? At least both of the kids shirts are showing ~ I'll take it!

Oh, and if you are wondering, yes we did attract a LOT of attention for sitting on the floor of the lobby with our kids!

Oh, happy morning!! Such wonderful stories and pictures again! I know you're ready to come home, but I'm going to miss this China story! I laughed when you mentioned the mac and cheese from Danny's- uh, YUM! :) And finally, hello to Ian's dad! Thanks for revealing the mystery man! :)

Hey Kristi and Ian, It has been wonderful getting to know your family as we are traveling with your family in China. You are a terrific mother and so natural with Caleb and Kylie. Please stay in touch so we may share in the joy of watching Caleb and Kylie grow. Good Luck on getting set up in your new home and Ian's new job. I will miss seeing you every morning with your Asian Angels!!!

REALLY, I'm laughing WITH you,not AT you! Hee. I think I have pictures just like these of when the girls were little and I wanted that perfect Christmas card photo. Yeah. Let's just say I didn't get exactly what I wanted for Christmas for at least a couple of years...

The pictures really are precious, though, and you will cherish them with laughter in the future...

Give Kylie and Caleb a big hug and kiss from us! Can't wait to see you guys!

Wow I love the photo shoot! Looks like you have your hands full! I am glad you went ahead and chanced the shirt fitting at 18 months! It looks like it fits perfect!
What size shoe is he in?
Love ya!
Oh yeah the yard sale was successful, but not near as successful as last weekend. We made $300. Not bad, and we organized it all. We took two STUFFED car loads to Good Will. An suv full to the dump and four loads of Uncle Rogers excursions full back to Mom's house to try to sell later. We are going to try a flea market in Union county. You pay $15 and bring what ever you can fit at a table... worth a shot?
Glad yall are doing well. Tell the kids Aunt Cici and Uncle Adam love them alot!!!

I love the photo shoot too. Looks vaguely familiar to me. :) Can't wait to see Caleb and Andrew together...maybe in a big open field where nothing can be destroyed. Ha!

I was hoping to get a special picture of my grandchildren with me for my Christmas cards. I may need to re-think that plan after seeing your photo shoot. Even so, the pictures are really cute.

Okay, I'm pretty sure this is why they invented photo shop and digital cameras! Imagine wasting a couple rolls of film to get one good shot. I think the pictures like this are always the best because it shows the true personality of the family. I also used to think Anah and Sera just really didn't like sharing the camera spotlight. They wanted their individuality. Ha.Ha. Now that they are older, I can bribe them to fake it. I don't have any advice to help you until they learn to like cash!!:) Hope you guys continue to have a great trip. Anah and Sera (and me and Tim) are dying to meet Caleb and see Kylie.

Okay I forgot to sign my name to the above post although I am pretty sure I am the only friend you know with an Anah, Sera, and Tim.
