Lunch and a prayer request

My happiness today that the sun is shining, it's warm outside, Ian is home and will be joining us around 5:45 for dinner caused me to overlook nutrition today at lunch...

Does it make me a bad mom if I listened?

(They did eat two apples, one banana, a bowl full of raspberries and about 15 Frosted Mini Wheats each for breakfast if that changes things!)

PS ~ I don't personally know Meredith and Joe, but they are friends of one of my bloggy friends, Allison and they are on the international adoption roller coaster. Please follow this link to read their plight and pray for them!

Kristi,

Ask my kids what the 5 groups are and they will tell you: Frozen, Bagged, Boxed, Canned or Premade. Fruit is foreign (except to Julia who got a love for it from her foster mom in China!) It's amazing what kids can survive on. :-)

Popcorn is the meal of champions. In fact that is what I had for dinner last night!

We are always hearing about how important it is to get enough fiber. I figure you can't start too young!! Besides, it's a day to celebrate. Daddy is home - wahoo!!

Ok, so last night we were in a major rush to eat dinner and get to b-ball practice. In line at the drive thru at McDonald's, I discovered that I left my wallet at work. We ran home and A2 and A3 had cereal (the sugary/marshmellowy kind) and popcorn for dinner. A1 had left over mac 'n cheese and popcorn. This morning, I found the missing wallet in the bottom of my purse.

Love the video. Their little feet are twisting back and forth together! How cute. Popcorn sounds good to me! Know you are all delighted that Ian is home and will be a full time Daddy again. Praise God that the 3 months are over and your lives can start to be normal - whatever normal means with two 2 year olds! haha Glorious!
Love you, LaoLao

Seriously, I've been asking at McDonald's for the last 4 weeks if they have their pumpkin pie out yet. They look at me like they have no idea what I'm talking about.
