Sunlight burst through the clouds!

So yesterday was one of those days where you actually have to verbalize, (out loud mind you) "Seriously, can anything else go wrong today?" It started with a very frustrating email exchange with our social worker concerning our home study update (had to let the USCIS know that Ian's job has changed), then I discovered that our oven isn't working, by the time I finished up our update changes I was two hours behind on the errands I needed to run for getting the house ready for pictures today, then the lawn service didn't show up as promised and we have to reschedule getting the pictures anyway, I got an email that a former co-worker of mine had a brain aneurysm and died over the weekend (please pray for the faculty and students at J.N.Fries Middle School as they deal with losing a wonderful librarian), and then there was taking mom to the ER (not minding taking the time to go with her, just the panic that something was wrong with my Mama) and for some it would seem like a day gone wrong. Yet there was a good part to the day...

In the midst of the madness, there was a phone call! We are leaving on October 23rd for China! I'm crying again as I write these words, I will hold my son in 26 days!!!!!!! Caleb LuTao, you have no idea what is in store for you my sweet boy, but I promise that we will love you and cherish you as long as we live!

Oh yeah, that would be a new picture of my little boy! It's tempting to call him baby, but from our recent report, he's walking and "often running." More on our updated information later, Kylie and I are going shopping to buy some shoes for him this morning!

ps ~ To my beloved Triple A's and cousin Sara, I hope you'll understand why Kylie will have to miss our standing Halloween trick or treat date. We love you and hope to make it up next year...

What a sweetheart!!!

Let's just assume that yesterday was the peak of the extreme mania for you......now you can focus on the regular mania of selling a house, moving and getting ready to travel internationally (with a 2 year old) to bring home your sweet baby boy:-)

We indeed lead exciting lives!!!
