There are days when the wait is a bit easy, and then there are the days like today, when my son is turning two and I'm half a world away...

I know the wait must be so hard today! I'm sorry. Hang in there, though, because so soon those WILL be your arms holding him. And then you can make up for the birthdays you missed!! You're almost there!!!!!!!

Oh it is so hard. When we got Hudson's referral he had JUST turned two and had also just had surgery. I just cried knowing he had to have a b'day without a family and then have a painful surgery......

He is SO stinkin' cute! Today is tough, I know...I'll never forget that feeling of missing Caroline's birthday. But once you have him in your arms, God will begin to fill in the gaps, and all those things you missed will be overrun with the joy of having him home!

Hi, your son is absolutly adorable. We traveled to China last October to bring our son home and he celebrated his birthday while we waited to travel, funny our son was born on 10/7 he turned 3 yesterday.
Congratulations on your beautiful boy! It makes me want to start all over again and bring another son home.
